Project Spotlight

I was 1 of 3 artists selected to participate in the Quad Cities Alternating Currents Mural Fest in August 2024. The theme to paint was "What Inspires You?" I choose a scene of trees, birds, and the river to represent nature and a gramophone with music flowing out in harmony. The weather was difficult to work around; extreme heat and scattered thunderstorms had us working during morning and night to get the project finished in a 3-day time period. Even so, it was a rewarding experience and major milestone for my artwork to be on display along a busy downtown street! You can see these murals along 3rd Street's 300 block in Davenport, Iowa.
